This inspiration board includes a lush, red Felicite print. My pretty fabric covered hoops are beautifully decorative hoops, perfect for framing and are available in all sizes from 3 - 12 inch and 3 oval sizes. They are hand finished to order and are available here.

Felicite D,Tana Lawn

Felicite is a rose trail design designed for Liberty Fabrics in 1933 by the designer D.S., who also created our iconic Betsy and Wiltshire prints. It is part of the Classics collection started in 1979, created to champion the most well-known and iconic designs from the Liberty archive all year around. This colour way perfectly compliments this vibrant candy red colour pallet.

DMC Stranded Cotton, Embroidery Threads:

DMC Stranded Cotton is made in France and are my favourite Embroidery Threads. They are both strong and have a beautiful sheen. The 6 easily divisible strands allow you to vary the weight of your stitches allowing a great versatility.

The painter in me loves the fact that there are over 500 colours allowing me to paint with threads.

In this inspiration Board I have limited myself to four complimentary colours.

Kona Colour, Cotton Solids:

Kona cotton is a range of cotton made by Robert Koferman. With over 365 glorious colours in the range there is a colour for every occasion ( or mood-board ) Because there are so many colours to choose from they are perfect for embroidering on and quilt making.

To compliment this collection I selected Number 110 - Peony.

Finishing touches

To finish off this collection I have added in one of my signature wooden backs. For this theme I have made it extra special by colouring in the little etched heart with red paint to make it pop.
