Nurge hoops are tooled from hard beech wood which is used for its tight grain. Nurge hoops are fine sanded and hand polished to a smooth natural wood finish to ensure your fabric will not snag.

These hoops have a sturdy brass screw adjuster to hold your  work secure.  The screw fastenings have a flat head screwdriver fitting for those of you that like to work with extra tight tension.
